Kundapur: NSS Pre-Training Camp held at Bhandarkar’s College

Kundapur, 10 Mar 2013: National Social Service (NSS) programme was the brainchild of Mahatma Gandhi that has higher goals for perfection.  The students had to make efforts to know the significance of programme in actively partaking in personality development and social welfare activities, said Bhandarkar’s College chemistry lecturer Satyanarayan.

 

Satyanarayan was speaking on the pre-training camp on the importance of NSS programme to Karnataka Opern University NSS students, which was held at Bhandarkar’s College study center here on Friday March 8.

 

 
Shailaja, Jayasudha, Gayatri, Sujata Shetty, Nagaratna and Jayashree offered training in NSS songs.

 

 
NSS programmes officer Dr Prasanna Kumar Ithal was present.

 

 
Santosh Hennabail welcomed the gathering.  Shilpa proposed vote of thanks.  Jayasri Adiga compered the programme.
