Kundapur: National Science Day observed in Vishwa Vinayaka School

Kundapur,06 Mar 2013: In order to view the world with scientific temperament and to maintain scientific spirit and to have progress in life the study of science is very important, said Udaya Gaonkar an eminent teacher. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Science Association as a part of the observation of the National Science Day at Thekatte Vishwa Vinayaka English Medium School recently.
While studying it is important to ask questions about the things which one does not understand. This quest would give a boost for the scientific study and development of knowledge. This cannot be achieved in blind faith and taking anything for granted said Udaya Gaonkar.
Bhaskara Shetty, administrative officer of the school presided over the programme. Radhamani K. Nayar, headmaster of the school was present for the programme.On this occasion an exhibition of the science models prepared by the students was organized.
Jyothi D. Acharya welcomed the guests and students, Ashwini Bhat compeered the programme, Shruthi read the report and Ashalatha Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
