M’belle-Pernankila Road to be renovated at a cost of 2.5 Crores

Moodubelle, 28 Feb 2013: Under the Karnataka State Highways Development Corporation, the road from Moodubelle to Pernankila is to be renovated at the cost of Rs. 2.5 crores. Mr. Lalaji R. Mendon, MLA of the Kaup constituency has used his good office to get the sanctioned amount for the improvement of the road with 5.5 meters width.

 

At a brief function held in the morning of Thursday, February 28, 2013, the Moodubelle-Pernankila Road Development programme was inaugurated.  After Prasanna Bhat of Edmeru performed the pooje, Fr. Lancy Saldanha recited the prayers for the successful completion of t he project.

The function was attended by Upendra Nayak, President of the Udupi Zilla Panchyat, Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza, Devdas Hebbar, Rajendra Shetty, Gerald Fernandes, Charles Quadros, Vincent Fernandes and Belle, Kodibettu and Manipura Grama Panchayat members.  The road will be developed under the supervision of engineer Iqbal.
