Kundapur: 5 of family including baby killed in accident at Hassan

Kundapur, 16 Feb 2013: Five persons of a family, including a baby, were killed when the car they were travelling in met with an accident near Kodihalli in Hassan on Friday February 15 night.

 

Subramanya, Shobha, Sudha and Vijayalakshmi

 

The deceased have been identified as Subramanya (35), his wife Shobha (28), their son Adish (8 months), Shobha’s sister Sudha (25) and mother Vijyalakshmi (54), all from Kodi, Kundapur.

 

Subramanya was an engineer by profession, and Shobha worked as a clerk at Karnataka Bank in Tumkur. Sudha was employed with Muthoot Finance in Bangalore, and her engagement was supposed to take place on Monday February 18.

 

The accident occured when their Indica car rammed into a roadside tree, killing all of them on the spot.

 

They were travelling from Tumkur to Kundapur when the accident occured.

 

Arsikere police have registered a case.
