Kundapuar: Locals Lay Seizure to Clinic at Ankadakatte, alleging Negligence over Death of Accident V

Kundapur, 06 Feb 2013: The general public laid seizure to a private clinic located at Koteshwar – Ankadakatte, near here on Tuesday February 5, alleging negligence of doctors that led to the death of accident woman.

 

The tense situation prevailed for some time at Koteshwar – Ankadakatte, near here during the seizure by the locals and family members of victim. 

 

 

Fifty-three-year-old Prema Serigar, a native of Hangalur, near here was critically injured in a collision between a auto rickshaw and a car at Koteshwar – Ankadakatte, on Sunday February 3 afternoon.  Prema was admitted to a private clinic nearby where she breathed her last at 7.30pm on Sunday. 

 

Over 200 people including grieving family of deceased laid seizure to the private clinic, alleging the negligence of doctors.

 

Kundapur DySP Yashodha S Ontagody, circle inspector Manjunat Kavari, sub-inspectors Jayaram D Gowda and Revati and policemen present to disperse the mob.

 

Prema is survived by her husband painter Srinivas Serigar, one son and four daughters.
