Kabbadi Queen Mamatha Poojari ties wedding knot

Udupi, 23 January 2013:  India’s Kabbadi Captain who won the Gold at Asian Games last year entered into married life on Wednesday at Udupi.

 
The famous daughter of Boja and Kitta Poojari of Karkala Taluke got married to software engineer Abhishek who works in Bangalore.  He is son of Sangiva and Indira from Udyavara of Udupi District

 
 The close relatives and friends of both families attended the simple wedding ceremony and were very happy to be heading towards Bangkok (Thailand) for honeymoon.

 

 

“ Today is my most happy day of life and I wan to keep away from playing Kabbadi for a few days.  Depends on my form in future I will decide should I continue playing kabbadi “ Mamatha said on the occasion.

 
“ Mamatha can play as long as she likes and I don’t have any objection.  I have not married international fame kabbadi player but a simple lovable girl and for her simplicity I chose her to be my bride “ said Abhishek .

 
Congress leader Janaradhana Poojari, H. Gopalpoojari (Karkala Constitution) and Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhatt were present for the wedding and wished them on the occasion.
