Vasant V Salian, who presided over the function, said that Kedar Shri Dharmanadu Kshetra has been developing as an important religious centre. The guests of honour at the function included: The Tantri of Shri Dharmanadu Kshetra-Vedamoorthy Kenja Shridhar Tantri, President of Barkuru Moodukeri Shri Venugoplakrishna temple-Gopal K., Udupi APMC President-Vijaya Kumar Udyavar, Central Government Minister-Oscar Fernandes and his Secretary-Manjunath Udyavar and  Social Worker from Udupi Kinnimulki-K. Krishnamoorthy Acharaya.

The managing Dharmashri of Shri Dharmanadu Kshetra-Raghuram Shetty conducted the programme. Following the end of the function the artists from Kinninmulki presented a hilarious play “Barepinaye Baretije” written by Vilas Kumar Nitte.
