Karkal: Prakruti Group set to Make Responsible Future Citizens of Students; Cap Ganesh Karnik

Karkal, 08 Jan 2012: The new-generation of students get everything, but lack moral education that makes them responsible citizens when they grow up. Meanwhile, Prakruti Group of education institutions fills this void, said MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik.
MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik was speaking at Prakruti Sambrama, first annual day celebration of Prakruti Group of education institutions, located at Sanoor, here on Monday January 7 evening.
Karkal MLA Gopal Bhandary, Mulky – Moodbidri MLA Abayachandra Jain, Moodbidri – Alvas Education Foundation chairman Dr Mijaruguttu Mohan Alva, Kateel – Sri Durgaparameshwari College principal Professor Balakrishna Shetty, Kota – Ashrit Trust chairman Ratnakar Hegde, Mangalore former Mayor Lancelot Pinto, Fr Tony D’Souza,Huzama takwa were the guests of the occasion.
MLA Gopal Bhandary commended the efforts of Prukruti Group chairman Gerald Crasta in extending quality education to rural students.
MLA Abayachandra Jain stressed the need to create general awareness on corruption across the nation with special emphasis on students, in order to create corruption-free-nation.
Dr Mohan Alva urged the students to be abreast with technological innovations taking place in the world. Professor Balakrishna Shetty said that education institutions indeed have been crating intellectuals, while Prakruti Group is one step ahead in creating responsible future citizens.
The birthday of Prakruti Group chairman Gerald Crasta was celebrated at the same occasion. Prakruti Group secretary Helen Crasta proposed vote of thanks. Prakruti Group administrator Ashok welcomed gathering and Vimal Raj compered the programme.
