Udupi: Durga Cricketers, Athradi Champions of ‘Karaval Milan Trophy-2012’

Udupi 24 Dec 2012: Durga Cricketers, Athradi Parkala won the Udupi district level cricket Tournament ‘Karaval Milan Trophy -2012’ Organized By Karaval Milan,Dubai(Udupi District) in association with Prerana-United Friends Kolalgiri. Whereas New Star, Uppoor Salmara Received Runners up Prize.

 The ‘Karaval Milan Trophy -2012’ was inaugurated on 16th December 2012.
 A Grand concluding ceremony was held on 23rd December 2012 Evening at Kolalgiri High school Ground Premises.
Mr.Raghupathi Bhat, MLA of,Udupi, Mr.Pramod Madwaraj, Industrialist of Malpe, Mr.Alfred D’Souza,Businesman from Kolalgiri, Mr.Puttu Naik,Head Master, Government High School,Kolalgiri,Mr.Oswald Cornelio, Managing Director, Professional Mens Parlour Santekatte Mr.Naveen Sequiera President Karaval Milan,Dubai,Mr.Eric D’Souza,Perampalli,Ex-President Of Karaval Milan,Dubai,Mr.Charles Mascarenhas,President Of Karaval Milan,Mr.Santhosh Banz,Bramhavara and Mr.Wilfed Mascarenhas,Kolalgiri were present as Guests during the closing ceremony.

 

Rev.Fr.David Crasta, Parish Priest  of St.Antony Syrian Orthodox Church,Ammunje Kolalgiri Presided over the closing ceremony.
Karaval Milan,Dubai Donated Cheque of Rupees 25,000 to 6 year Boy Master Steevan D’Souza Havanje Kolalgiri who is suffering from Severe Leukemia.

After the short message from Guests and President of closing ceremony the Prize Distribution ceremony was held.

The winners of the Tournament Received 11,111 Rupees and Runners-up Received 5,555 Rupees. Mr.Melwin Mascarenhas, Chief Secretary Prerana –United Friends,Kolalgiri welcomed the gathering,Mr.Ashwin Roche ,Chief Convener Prerana –United Friends,Kolalgiri Proposed vote of thanks and Mr.Prashanth Shetty compeered the programme.

The event was well organized by Karaval Milan, Dubai and it was hosted by Prerana-United Friends Kolalgiri.
