M’lore: Ferarites Celebrates ’Ferar Fest’ with Sangon Mughana drama and Claude Nit

Mangalore, 17 Dec 2012: Ferarites Global in association with St Francis Xavier Church, Ferar is celebrating “Ferar Fest” on January 12, 2013 at Church Grounds, Ferar.

 

The event will include Pradeep Barboza’s “Sangon Mugdana” drama featuring comedian king Dolla and his team. The evening programme will also be packed with Claude D’Souza’s musical nite with a galaxy of singers. Several games and food stalls will add a festive atmosphere to the event.

 

Entry will be free for all. Organizers are expecting a huge crowd from nearby parishes like Kinnigoli, Niddodi, Muchur, Kuppepadavu, Moodbidri, Kaikamba, and Bajpe. Return transport will be arranged for the crowd from nearby parishes.

 

 

The main purpose of this event is to bring Ferarites from all parts of the world under one umbrella and share moments of happiness with them, and in the meantime raise funds for construction of SFX school building.

 

Joseph Mathias, NRI entrepreneur from Dubai will be the chief guest. NRI entrepreneurs Leo Rodrigues, Abu Dhabi, James Mendonca, Dubai and Konkani drama writer and actor Pradeep Barboza will be the guests of honour.

 

Vincent Pereira, convener of the programme said, "Preparations are under way to make this evening a memorable one." He lauded the sponsors for their wholehearted and generous support. A few of them have asked not to disclose their names.

Parish priest Dr Pius Pinto has requested drama and music lovers to come in large numbers. Approximately 2,500-3,000 people are expected to attend, he said.
