Udupi: Billava Sangh, Bannanje Donates House to Poor Pushpavati Poojarthy Family at Kunjoor

Udupi, 11 Dec 2012: Billava Sangh, Bannanje, near here donated a house to Pushpavati Poojarthy and her daughter Shweta Poojarthy, who were living in acute poverty in 5 cents colony located at Durga Nagar, Kunjoor, at the limits of Yellur gram panchayat, here on Sunday December 9.
K Narayan Kotian, president of Billava Sangh, Bannanje led the handing over ceremony of house that was constructed at a cost of Rs 4 lac to Pushpavathi who was living in misery owing to her physically disability with her daughter Shwetha, and her husband passed away recently.
Bannanje Billava Sangh vice president Suryaprakash K, secretary Vishwanat, joint secretary Anand Kidiyoor, treasurer P K Shankar, members Krishnappa Kotian, M K Sanil, U Chandrashekar, Madhav Bannanje Sundar, Janardhan Badanidiyoor and Raghavendra Amin, social activist K Krishnamurti Acharya, contractor Surendra Paniyoor, Manipura Billva Sangh president Sridar Amin, Kaup Jaycees former president Sudhakar Salian, Lions Club district co-ordinator Harish K Nayak, Kunjoor Durga Mitra Vranda president Manjunat Acharya, secretary Satish Shetty, Billava community leader Rama Poojary, Yellur gram panchayat vice president Rahim Kunjoor and others were present.
Kunjoor Sri Durgaparameshwari temple president V M K Chakrapani Udupa performed the rituals related to house warming.
Journalist and Kaup Jaycees president Rakesh Kunjoor compered the programme.
