Udupi: DCIB Sleuths Nab 2 Persons with Contraband of Deer-Horns at Brahmavar

Udupi, 06 Dec 2012: The sleuths of District Crime and Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) arrested two persons while transporting contraband of deer-horns in an auto rickshaw at nearby Brahmavar, here on Wednesday December 5.
The arrested has been identified as thirty-years-old Kulal, a resident of Hosoor village and fifty-five-years-old Bhaskar Shetty, a native of Kalattoor.
The duos were arrested while transporting contraband of nine-pairs of deer-horns in an auto rickshaw from Hebri to Brahmavar. Sub-inspector Praveen H Nayak and sleuths were involved in this operation. The sleuths seized the contraband and registered a case under Wildlife Conservation Act and handed them over to the custody of Brahmavar police station.
The sleuths Yogindranat, Vaman, Uday Kundar, Ratnakar, Ashok Kumar, Dinesh Shetty, Rajesh Kokkarne, Satish and Chandrashekar were involved in this operation.
