Shirva, 21 Nov 2012: “If we look into the ancient history of India, we will find that there were large libraries in Nalanda and Takshashila which were of a high world standard. There are references also which allude to the fact that Indian literary works were translated into other world languages by saints, historians, scientists and philosophers which in turn inspired the present literary works. The four Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhavagthgeeta are some of the great Indian works that influenced them,” said Shri Lalaji Mendon, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Kaupu.
