Mangalore: Tuluvera Tulu Parba celebrated with great enthusiasm

Mangalore, 29 Oct 2012: Ajai Sports Club, Kulai, Mangalore celebrated their thirtieth anniversary in a grant way through various variety entertainment programmes appropriately named ‘Tuluvera Tulu Parba’ on October 27 and 28 at Chandubai Bobbuda Kala Shree Venkataramana School grounds, Kulai.

 

 

The inaugural function was held on October 27. Dr. Veerendra Heggade was the chief guest of the inaugural function. Dr. Mohan Alva presided over the function. A large number of dignitaries were escorted to the elevated grand stage  with traditional ‘Poorna Kumbha’. The Gombe and Huli dance and orchestra were added attractions of the programme.

 

Dr. Veerendra Heggade inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp and distributed the ‘Kural’ and raw paddy to the gurkars with traditional headgear (mundas).
