M’lore: Wheels-2012 Brings Vintage Cars, Bikes to City Roads

Mangalore, 19 Oct 2012: Automobile enthusiasts had a good time on Friday October 19 as a number of vintage cars, vintage bikes, super cars and super bikes came on road as part of ’Wheels-2012’, a rally and exposition organized jointly by the department of mechanical engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management and Flames, association of mechanical engineering students.

 

The rally was organized as part of the ’auto expo’ held at the campus of Sahyadri College of Engineering in Adyar.

 

 

Vintage jeeps, Fiat cars, Royal Enfields ruled the road and a rally was held from Pumpwell to the college campus. Well-known automobile dealers took part in the mega event. There were also luxury cars which cost more than a crore.

 

The event was aimed at showcasing the latest automobiles in the market and also vintage and luxury cars and bikes. Various car accessory companies showcased their latest products at the exposition.

 

Organising committee head of the event Rakshith Shetty among other participants were present.
