Moodubelle: Elocution Competition organized by Catholic Sabha evokes good response

Moodubelle, 09 Oct 2012: The elocution competition organized by the Moodubelle Unit of the Catholic Sabha on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3.15 pm in the church premises evoked good response as 37 students from different categories participated enthusiastically in the competition. The topic of the elocution competition was “My First Holy Communion..” The competition was held in both Konkani and Kannada languages.

 

The children had thoroughly prepared for the competition and the parents who had accompanied their children were quite eager  witness their  performance.

 

 

Mr. Raphael Monis, Mrs. Shalet D’Souza and Mr. Gilbert Pinto  were the judges of the elocution competition. The members of the Catholic Sabha were quite active in arranging this competition.

 

At the end of the competition, Fr. Lancy Saldanha, the Assistant Parish priest summed up the outcome of the elocution competition and appreciated the efforts of each and every competitor. Mrs. Emilia proposed the vote of thanks and announced the names of the winners.
