H M Pernal elected President of Konkani Writers Forum, Karnataka®

Mangalore, 24 Sept 2012: Mangalore, 24 Sept 2012: Poet, Short story writer, eminent critic and editor of kittall.com Mr. H. M. Pernal, elected as President of Konkani Writers Forum, Karnataka® in the Annual General Body Meeting held on 23rd September 2012 at Sandesha, Mangalore.   Other Office bearers elected  for next two years term  are :  Mrs. Irene Rebello ( Vice President ) Mr. Marcel M D Souza ( General Secretary ) Mr. Aloysius Ton Ferose ( Joint Secretary ) and Mr. Joachim Pinto ( Treasurer) Mr. Edwin J F D Souza, Prof Vincent Alva, Prof Stephen Quadrose, Mrs. Violet Pereira and Mr. John A Monis are Executive Committee members.

 

 

Henry Mendonca, popularly known as H M Pernal,   has so far published four books, 3 collections of poems and 1 collection of short stories in Konkani.  Presently he is the editor and publisher of critically acclaimed Konkani literary website kittall.com.
Konkani Writers Forum, Karnataka® is the only registered body of Konkani Writers in Krantaka since last 16 years. It has members across the globe who writes Konkani in Kannada script.
