Kuwait: Audition for ZEE International Antakshari

Kuwait, 11 Sept 2012: For the first time Indian Cultural Society brings you live excitement of ZEE -International ANTAKSHARI in Kuwait. Audition & first round will be held in Kuwait,   there after followed by semi finals in India & Grand Finale in Dubai. Complete team of Carnival films & Zee TV will be in Kuwait for the final round of selection on Friday 5th October with

Akriti Kakkar: Female Bollywood Singer & Host of Antakshari
Manish Paul: Host for Auditions
Sarfaraz Khan: Actor, Director and Producer
Michael Amin: Producer & Director Carnival films world.
Musicians, Male Singer & many more for live performances……
Final audition at 10am & music show at 7.30pm at AIS-Hawally.
Antakshari Live show is divided in 2 segments, 1st televised segment and 2nd non televised segment. Antakshari will be televised, all competitions starting from November 13th .Zee TV will air Antakshari Auditions on Fridays and next day on Saturday. Zee will air Gala of the same City. Next Friday Saturday will be other City etc.  Shows will be aired till the last show is aired which is minimum 11 weeks for 11 shows.  Zee TV will also Air the Grand finale which will be hosted in Dubai in December 2012.

Show Format for 5th October…..

 

4-6 hours of Antakshari with 8-10 teams (selected participant) followed by
three hours of musical entertainment live performances by performers, singers, Actor & comedian.
First phase audition will be on Friday 21st September at KMA -Jabaria.
Audition commences at 10am sharp & music show at 7.30pm with renowned playback singer Madhushree Bhattacharya and live orchestra from Bollywood.

 

 

The son of India’s most popular and legendary Actor cum comedian Jagdeep, Jaaved Jaaferi carries on the tradition of humor with élan. Jaaved Jaaferi is one of the most versatile performers in India today. He is known for donning various hats with flamboyance: actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, VJ, MC, ad filmmaker among others. Debuting in “Meri Jung” in 1985, he made a huge impact in a negative role.

His performance in the song ‘Bol Baby Bol Rock & Roll’ incorporated a path breaking style showcasing his dancing excellence. His commentary on the famous Japanese TV show Takeshi’s Castle on Pogo TV has also garnered a huge fan following with kids and adults. He hosts the dance competition show “Boogie Woogie” on Sony Entertainment Television. He garnered a huge fan-following inspiring the new generation of dancers. He has acted in over 35 films Indian ( like: Salam Namastey, Dhamaal, 3Idiot, Chai Garam, Jocker, Fantastic, Daddy Cool, Singh is King, Gang, Fire, Kambakhat Ishq etc) and international till date winning various awards like SCREEN, FILM FARE & IIFA...

Today’s demanded playback singer AKRITI KAKKAR has started learning Hindustani classical music at the age of 5, from her mother & became a part of “Little Stars” the Anand Ji (Kalyanji Anandji fame) troupe, where she made her way through world tours. She is a winner of many awards right from TVS Sa Re Ga Ma National Talent Hunt. She is well knows judge & performer of reality shows on different TV channels.

 

 

Her solo music album "AKRITI" released by Sony Music with fresh original tracks. Music composed by Shankar Mahadevan & Akriti Kakkar. Ek Sapna (released during Last World Cup), Punjabi Pop Dhamaka 2000,  Baby Doll Chapter 2, song "Rangeela Re" became a chart topping remix,  A-TEEN  featuring the hit track "Jal Bin Machli",  Chicks on Fire (song "Saaiya Jhootto ka bara sartaj") -Film Do Aakhen 12 Haath. She worked for international project with Mattel & Sa Re Ga Ma HMV; an animated BARBIE movie called "Barbie & the Magic of Pegasus" for which she featured as the ’voice and face of Barbie’ in the video track called "Hope has wings”. This was the first time an association like this happened in India which brought in big success to the project.

 Manish Paul is an Indian television actor, started his career as an RJ with radio city’s morning drive time – “Kasakai Mumbai”. Later he entered channel Star One’s Ghost Bana Dost to play the role of a ghost. Before getting into anchoring, Manish Paul has acted in many serials like Radhaa Ki Betiyaan, Kuch Kar Dikhayengi on NDTV Imagine, Zindadil (Zee Next), and Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai on Star One, Wheel Ghar Ghar Mein, Kahani Shuru with Love Guru on Zee TV, Kuchh Cook Hota Haion 9X . Manish gained recognition after he hosted singing and dance reality. Indian Cultural Society recently presented ” Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main” with renowned playback singer from Bollywood  ABHIJEET & world fame theater cum Pakistani comedy king  UMAR SHARIF. This event has created history in Kuwait as a symbol of INDO-PAK friendship.

Prior to that ICS supported Saanjh in the event “Ambassadors of Comedy” with International artist Aron Kader, Dean Obeidullah  & Nitin Mirani towards a noble cause. ICS has had the privilege to bring in to Kuwait & organize events with top most playback singers, actors & actress like Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Kader Khan, Bhagyashree, Alka Yagnik, Hema Sardesai, Talat Aziz, Shibani Kashyap, Akshay Anand, Prairna Agarwal, Bharti Singh & Kavita Krishnamurti, Kader Khan etc. Simultaneously the ICS team has met with renowned Bollywood stars Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala, Karan Johar, Suneeta Rao, Preity Zinta, Suhail Khan as well as legendry music director Pyarelal ji (Laximikant Pyarelal) & many others for future events.
