M’lore: DK District level Teachers Day observed in the Town Hall

Mangalore, 06 September 2012: DK Zilla Panchayat, Public Education Department, Mangalore and Mangalore South Zone Teachers Day Celebration Committee jointly celebrated  DK District level Teachers Day on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11 am in the Town Hall.

 

 

The function was presided over by Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Mrs. Shailaja Bhat, President of the DK Zilla Panchayat, U.T. Khader, MLA, K. Abhaychandra Jain, MLA of Moodbidri and Mrs. Gulzart Banu, Mayor of Mangalore attended the programme.

 

A large number of teachers who will be retiring this a year were honoured during this occasion.
