Independence Day celebrated with great enthusiasm in and around Moodubelle

ICYM Moodubelle organized the Flag Hoisting function on the occasion of the Independence Day. Rev. Fr.Joswey Fernandes hoisted the flag. The guests of honour were Rev.Fr.Paul Sequira, Vice-President Mr.A.K.Alva, ICYM President Kevin Britto and Advisor Maxim D’Sa.

 

The programme was compeered by Glen Joy Alva.

 

 

UBMC Khasagi Anudanitha Hiriya Prathamika Shale, Mattar

 

 

The chief guest of the Independence Day programme was Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, eminent Advocate from Udupi. The guests were Rev. Suguna Jatanna, Mrs. Rita Mathias former Udupi Taluk Panchayat member, Devdas Nayak,  grama panchayat member, Daynanda Kunder and Suresh. Mrs.Pushpadayavathi, school teacher compeered the programme and welcomed the guests. Vote of thanks was proposed by Headmaster Mr.Prakash Edward Kotyan.

 

 

Shree Mahabaleshwara  Hindu Anudanitha Hiriya Prathamika School, Edmer

 

Belle Uday Kumar Shetty presided over the Independence Day programme. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by the Belle Grama Panchayat President Mrs. Jacintha Aranha and panchayat member Shivram Salian.

 

 

The guests of honour included: Sitaram Shetty of school administrative committee, Ram Acharya, panchayat member, Mrs. Helen D’Souza, Santosh Kumar, Shridhar Shetty Kandadi, Sundar Poojary Kolalgiri, Bhaskar Shetty, senior teacher, Harish Shetty Balanjale, Suresh mallibettu, Pradeep Shetty, Sebastian D’Souza, Devdas Nayak Belanjale,and Sundar Acharya.

 

The school children were given books and other items sponsored by the South Kanara Photographers’ Association. Headmaster Vivekananda Shetty compeered the programme and welcomed the guests.

Benedict Martis hoisted the flag and the function was presided over by Mrs. Jacintha Aranha, President of the Belle Grama Panchayat. The guests included Vivekananda Shetty, Headmaster of Edmeru School, Shivaram Salian, panchayat member, Valerian Noronha, Benard D’Souza, Bhaskar Shetty, Yuvaka Mandala President Santhosh Kumar Moodubelle, Ganesh Nayak & Nagesh Nayak, honorary president and secretary Umesh Mallibettu.

 

Sachin Putran compeered the programme, Pratham Shetty welcomed the guests and Pradeep Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
