‘Astavadhana’ program by ‘Parichaya’ Pamboor

Shankarapura, 26 June 2012: ‘Astavadhana’ is an art developed for talent, knowledge, grasping power, dedication, capacity and exploration of mind, said Umesh Gowtham Nayak. He was speaking upon inauguration of the program ‘Astavadhana’ organized by ‘Parichaya’ of Pamboor at Shakarapura Church Hall on Sunday. He said that if one loves the art from mind then he can master it.
Shirva St. Mary’s PU College retired Kannada Lecturer K.S. Shridharamurthy in his introductory note said that Astavadhana art is purely an Indian art, it is a kind of answering the questions by singling and briefed on this art. Scholars such as Raghavendra Rao Padubidri, Dattapadi Vasudeva Bhat Nitte, Kallianpura Narayana M.
Hegde, Brahmavara Chandrashekara Kedlaya, Kumari Ambika, Talapadi Shridhara D.S., Devendra Nayak Shirva, K.S. Shridharamurthy raised the questions which were easily answered through singing by Umesh Nayak, who won the heart of art lovers.
