Dazzling Teen Prince & Teen Princes Contest held at ISC Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 15 May 2012: India Social and Cultural Centre have been attracting its members through out year by conducting various contests, organizing festivities, arts and cultural shows and many sports event.  As the new committee just set in enthusiastic young men always keep themselves busy with loads of activities organized for the young and old.

 

On Thursday night a special dazzling 31st Teen Prince and Teen Princes closely contested competition was held at its premises.  The contest was open to all boys and girls for the age group of 13 to 18 years.  In total nine boys and seventeen girls contested in one of the most wonderful show put up by youngsters. 

 

The grand show began at about 9pm with a warm welcome rendered by Hon Entertainment Secretary Roy Abraham and he welcomed all the contestants to show and introduced emcee of the day Ms. Archana to carry on with the show.

 

 

The first round was only the introductory round and compare put up a few questions to the contestants.  Out of 9 boys and 17 girls only 6 boys and 10 tens could make it to the second round wherein they walked the ramp graciously and had audience amazed at their beauty and ramp walk.    In the second round each contestant was to pic up a question raised by the judges and most of them answered to the satisfaction of the judges.

 

The prizes were distributed to the winners of following category after the second round for both sexes:

 

a)  Best Smile b) Best Indian dressed c) Star quality

 

After the final round the following adjudged as winners:

 

Teen Princes: 
The Winner:   Anjorna Nanda
1st Runner Up: Aditi Santosh
2nd Runner Up:   Sonali Williams

 

Teen Prince:
The Winner:   Ajit Subramaniam
1st Runner Up: Rodney Sherveen
2nd Runner Up:  Michael Francis

 

The contest was judged by five eminent personalities in U.A.E. namely:  Ms. Nancy Macwan(Engineer), Ms. Deepti (Radio Mirchi – UAE), Ms. Geena George (Trinity Communication), Ms. Santosh Sing (Business Women) and Mr. Prashant Lele (Manager, Country Group)

 

As a token of appreciation the prizes were distributed to all the participant.  Judges too appreciated by ISC committee by presenting a memento each.
