Tonic for health via Humerous Speech by Indumathi Salimat in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, 30 April 2012:  A stress relief medicine was provided free of charge by a well known TV personality Ms. Indumathi Salimat (TV Haretemalla artist) from Gulberg.

 

The event was organized by Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha under the leadership of Mr. Sarvotham Shetty (President) at Fooldlands Banquet Hall at 8pm.

 

Prior to program, Mr. Sarvotham Shetty welcomed the artists and guests who attended the program.  Mr. Manohar Tonse introduced the artists and said that ms. Indumathi is from Gulbarg and have been presenting lots of shows in TV channels which included: Nage Sakath Saval, Muthu Harate in Udaya TV, Jannara Chigari & Sakath Comedy in Kasturi Tv, Muthinata Mathu in Suvarna Tv, Comedy Kiladigalu in Zee Kannad and many other shows she is actively involved and have presented.

 

 

She is not only a humorist but also a very good in Janapada Sahitya and has vast knowledge in Janapada Sangita as well which was evident in her speech.  A’simple personality but full of humour.  The main objective of her speech is laugh and live long.  She said in the olden days people used to live for  100 years without major sicknesses but today at 40 we have BP, 50 Diabetes and  at 60 out of this world humorously.  She provided a variety of speaches, sang in her melodius voice various types of Kannada songs, Janapada mainly and recited several poems and hasya chutukus entertaining the crowd through out the session.

 

She is of the opinion that those who love Sangita and Sahitya will live happily for long years and hence it is very important we entertain ourselves with singing and listening to music and also practice reading good books and literature.

 

She also did some mimicry of old Kannada cinema artists such as Kalpana, Arathi etc

 

At the end of the session Mr. Sarvotham Shetty thanked her for providing good entertainment for the audience and on behalf of Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi requested Mr. Sudhir Kumar Shetty (COO Global – UAE Exchange) to present her memento in appreciation along with Karanataka Sangha members.  Also present on the venue were; Mr. Ravi Rai (VP – Personnel NMC Group), Mr. Jairam Rai (Finance Controller – Bin Fardan Group of companies) and many other dignitaries.
