Udupi: Sculptures of Mookajji, Grandchildren unveiled

Brahmavara, 28 April 2012: The sculptures of Mookajji and her grand children based on one of the best novel of Dr. Shivarama Karanth ‘Mookajjiya Kanasugalu’ laid under the tree in front of the Dr.Shivarama Karantha Kalabhavana in Kota were unveiled by Dr. Virendra Hegde of Dharmastala on Friday.
Upon viewing the Karantha Kalabhavana Dr. Hegde said that, it brings him happiness that the Kalabhavana which brings brightness to the personality of Dr. Karanth is built in his birth place, who had multiple talents and when we review his achievements we wonder whether it is possible for such personality. His time management with maximum usage of the time with various activities need to be studied and learned, he said.
Kotathattu Grama Panchayath President Raghu Thingalaya presided over the function. Vidhana Parishad member Kota Shrinivasa Poojary welcomed the guests and the gathering. Taluk Panchayath member Raghavendra Kanchan, Jilla Panchayath Member Sunita Rajaram, Ananda C. Kunder of Dr. Kota Shivarama Karanatha Pratistana were present as the chief guests. Narendra Kumar compeered the program.
