Somyak Dinvasuiam - Konkani Hymns CD released by JEDI

Mumbai, 27 April 2010: Konkani devotional hymns CD containing golden old hymns and produced by JEDI Music Company, namely "Somyak Dinvasuiam" was released in a function organised at Sarker Corner, Veer Desai Road, Andheri East on Friday, 23rd April. The CD was released by George D’Souza Borivli president of Canara Konkani Association Borivli. A famous singer Fr. Baptist Pais, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church Andheri blessed the CD. During this same function MAHOORT of the new project FOREVER KONKANI HITS Vol-2 of JEDI was also launched by Mr. Clament Lobo, Chakala. The producer Julias Braganza, marketing manager Simson Braganza, project manager Charles D’Cunha Borivli, Mrs. Philomena Lobo were also present at the dais.

Speaking at the occasion Fr. Baptist Pais said that "It was a great opportunity to work with JEDI Music Company to share the talent give by the Lord to others. I am happy to be with the famous artist over here because of the goodwill of the producer Julias Braganza and the project manager Charles D’Cunha. Through such projects it is easy to reach out to the mass to spread His good words". Music Director Tony Dias said that explained the team spirit of the group to work in the late night to bring out a quality product. Famous composer Victor concesso wished the company to bring out many more such products. Mr. Charles D’Cunha compered the programme beautifully.

The CD contains 19 songs namely Somyak Dinvasuiam, Swikar Kor Hem Ful, Tujya Vinyak, Amchya Bapa Sorginchya, Sam Francis Savera, Tujya Hatant, Tuje Sorshim Deva, Gupit Mhojya Deva, Ballok Jezu, Kristacho Mog To, Jezu Borya Govllya, Noman Tuka Khursa, Sam Loresa, Kallza Ye Jezuchya, Kristachya Otmya,  Rakonn Bhoddvya Mhojya, Juze Doyall, Koxttatelyano yeyat.

The Singers and the Chorus are Fr. Baptist Pais, Ivan Sequeira, Nephie Pradhan, Charles D’Cunha, Victor Concesso, Antony Tauro, Milagreen, Dorin Pinto, Veronica DSouza. Music Directed by Tony Dias. Instrumentals by Tony Dias, Theo Alvares, Shyam Raj, Allen D’Costa, Mark Anthony, Ravi Jasraj. The CD is priced at Rs. 100/- only. It is awailable in all leading stalls of Mangalore and Mumbai.
