Shirva: New Rotary Sabhabhavana Inaugurated in Bantakal

Shirva, 21 November 2011: Social Associations along with the community service, must create public awareness on the education. With education such as Engineering or any other suitable qualification if one gets into job then the family can prosper. It is only a dream that the politicians can bring the prosperity to the poor. It is impossible for the government to eliminate the poverty, said Bantakal Shri Madvavadiraja Technological Institute Secretary Ratnakumar.

 

He was speaking as the Chief Guest in the inaugural function of the newly constructed Shirva Rotary Sabhabhavana, on Sunday. The main donor of the Rotary Sabhabhavana Nandalike Sachidananda Shetty Padoor Abbettuguttu inaugurated the Sabhabhavana by cutting the ribbon. Manipal Academy of General Education Chief Administrative Officer and Former Rotary District Governor Dr. H.M. Shantharam unveiled the name board and felicitated the land donor Dr. K.R. Venkatakrishna and Main Financial donor Dr. N.S. Shetty Padoor.

 

 

Pamboor Gilbert Noronha who completed the construction on schedule was felicitated. Rotary Trust Treasurer Raghupati Aythal introduced the donors. Rotary Secretary Leo Noronha Pamboor read the felicitation letter. Rotary District Governor expressed his happiness on the fulfillment of the long dream. Zonal Senani Shikara Anchan congratulated. On this occasion the computer donated by the Rotary Club to the Pamboor Higher Primary School has been handed over by Dr. H. Shantharam to School Headmaster Herald Menezes.

 

Project Coordinator Dr. Gururaj organized the arrangements. On the dias Lion Fredrick D’Souza was present. Rotary Trust President Dr. K.R. Venkatakrishna congratulated everyone for fulfilling his dreams. Herald Cutinho introduced the guests. Shirva Rotary President Ronald Sequeira presided over the program and welcomed the guests and the gathering. Kumari Sujanya conducted prayers. B. Pundalika Marathe compeered the program. Rotary Trust Secretary Micheal Mathias proposed vote of thanks.
