Kaup: JCI - Zonal Conference Inaugurated by Daya Nayak

Kaup, 15 November 2011: I did not join the Police department to kill the criminals. The accidents taken place during the line of duty while serving the country, has reflected me with the title of Encounter Specialist, said Mumbai Police Officer Encounter specialist Daya Nayak. He was speaking upon inaugurating the JCI zonal conference “Ambari – 2011” of JCI – Zone 15 including D.K., Udupi and U.K. districts held in Vidyaniketana Group of Education Society premises at Uliyaragoli K. Sundara Shetty Stage, with the invitation from Kaup JCI, on Saturday.
The accidents taken place in the Police Department have reflected me with the title encounter specialist, which have been liked by the people. But, I have not joined the police department to kill anyone and I do not want to kill anybody, said Daya Nayak. Every organizations and associations are conducting various programs for the overall development. But there is no information for the general public on maintaining the law and order.


The role of the elders is very crucial on correcting the children while they are on the wrong path. The violence shown in the TV’s today are also contributing in the children stepping into the criminal field, which is a reality. While I joined the police department, at that time about ten thousand criminal’s list was in the police department and among them five thousands were from Karnataka. In those days for the sake of money the crime field was attractive. But today the crime rate has reduced. In Mumbai the youths work and live happily, so the crimes have come down. Everyone gets a good opportunity in life and that has to be made use of, he told the youths.
JCI zone 15 President Ashish Kumar presided over the program. On this occasion JCI former National President Senator Ramesh Bhatavia, JCI former National Vice President Babaji Savanth, Vidyaniketana Group of Education Correspendent K.P. Acharya, West Zone President Y. Sukumar, Padoor Project SKE and CKT Project Manager Jeen Moo Lee, Udupi Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary, Entrepreneur Suresh Shetty Gurme, Entrepreneur Vinu Vishvanatha Shetty Moodbidri were the chief guests.
Media Academy awarded Prajavani Deputy Editor Dinesh Amin Mattu spoke on the occasion. Zonal coordinator Santhosh Chitrakumar, Zone Officers Dipak Kumar Yermal, Pravin Kumar Gurme, Kaup JCI President Rajendra B.K., zonal conference Director Jagadish Acharya, Deputy Director Arun Shetty Padoor, Secretary Sandip Shetty Kalya were present on the occasion.
In the concluding ceremony on Sunday Kaliyanpura JCI former President Allen Rohan Vaz was wlected as the new Zonal President.
