Brahmavara: Namesake Service has no significance

Brahmavara, 14 November 2011: In the service conducted with pure mind and heart there is also ppart of God. Namesake service will be for the individual only. But the selfless service done with good mind will be fruitful. In devotion and service there is no significance for name, said Shri Sansthana Gowdapadacharya Kaivalya Mutt Seer Shrimad Shivananda Saraswathi Swami Maharaj.
He was giving asheervachana in Brahmavara Shri Laxmi Venkataramana Temple in the Chaturmasya Vratha concluding Digvijayotsava religious function on Saturday. He said that, let the punya of the various religious, Vaidic and cultural activities during these four months go to the entire devotees and let good things happen to everyone, he wished.
Chaturmasya Samiti Hon. President H. Dinesh Nayak speaking on the occasion said that, it is a great honour for us that Yati of Mutt took part in the Chaturmasya Vrath. Temple Managing Trustee welcomed. On this occasion Seer released the book “Sampradaya Saurabha”. On behalf of the Samiti Padyapooja of Seer and by the Bhajakavranda offerings of garlands were conducted.
In the religious program Udupi MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat, Kundapura Deputy Police commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu, Udupi Municipal Paurayuktha Gokuldas Nayak, Senior Archaka Radhakrishna Bhat and other dignitaries were present. B. Vishwananth Bhat compeered the program. Later seer was taken in a grand procession with Nasik Band and many costumes in the main roads of Brahmavara city.
