Kuwait, 26 October 2011: Hot Stepper, the entertainment wing of creative Indians Association announces their 15th event ‘Indian Fiesta-2011’ on 28th October, 2011 at the Kuwait Entertainment City Doha from 2 pm till 11 pm. The day will offer tons of free rides, games, discount stalls, mouth watering Indian food stalls, dance performances, music and a whole lot lore of entertainment. Delhi born, 26yrs old Anushka Manchanda is an Indian singer and an ex-channel [V] VJ, all apart from being a member of former indian pop girl group Viva.Being born into a rock n roll musical family, music happened to Anushka pretty early in her life.. Having grown up playing the piano and a little bit of guitar, she made it to Viva, India’s most successful band group formed from a nationwide search for the best musical talent in the country.

Her first album sold over half a million copies, before the band split. In 2006 then, she got her first opportunity to sing for a Hindi film as well, which was the title song of the film Golmaal, composed by Vishal-Shekhar. After playing cameo roles in ‘Lions of Punjab’ and ‘dulha mil gaya’, she was the only singer among the contestant lineup that consisted of actresses and models in the hindi reality show ‘Khatron ke khiladi” and went on to win the show. After that she was asked to host Indias’s stunt biking show, MTV’s Stunt mania reloaded.Always one to experiment with music, she now fronts an electro rock band ‘Shkabang’, besides performing with other acts like the ‘Petri dish project’ and the ‘Agni’. She is also the voice behind advertisements for brands like vodafone, Levi’s, sony, nokia, dove, lakme, blackberry and Nivea, dubbing for voice and jingles both. Never one for pretentiousness, she is known for her devil may care attitude.
