Belman: Nitte K.K.C. wins Monsoon Cricket Tournament

Belman, 13 September 2011: Monsoon cricket tournament – 2011 organized by Shri Durga Cricketers Padu Belman on Sunday, was inaugurated by Belman St. Joseph School Teacher B. Pundalika Marathe by lighting the lamp. Upon inauguration he said that, in the sports, the role of every player is crucial. When everyone perform their responsibility as a unit then only it is possible to win, he said. The inaugural function was presided over by entrepreneur Devendra Shetty.

 

 

Belman Grama Panchayath member and social worker Prabhakara Shetty, Laxminarayana Bhat and Secretary Nithyananda Shetty were the chief guests on the occasion. Diwakara Shetty of R.K. Traders welcomed the guests and the gathering. Vignesh Shenoy compeered the program and also proposed vote of thanks. Prajwal and Rathnayak were the umpires of the cricket tournament. Udyavara Vinaya Vijay presented the running commentary.

 
In the concluding ceremony, Karkala Taluk Panchayath President Jayarama Saliyan presented the trophy to the winning team K.K.C. Nitte. Kaup Vishwapriya team were the runners up. Shankar Kunder Sooda, Sandip Poojary, Diwakara Shetty, Devendra Shetty and Prabhakara Shetty were present on the dias.
