Belman: Environment awareness emphasised in JCI’s ‘Sapthvarna’

Belman,09 September 2011: The contributions of Indian JCI in streamlining the youths, able leadership, awakening the social values, organizing the programs to blossom the talents and emphasising the awareness on environment are appreciable, said Indian JCI National Director Sadananda Navada. He was speaking upon inaugurating the “Saptavarna” week program in Belman Governmant Pre University College, organized by JCI Belman Unit on Friday.
Entrepreneur Ln Suhas Hegde Belman and Government Pre University College Principal B. Janardhana Bhat were the chief guests of the program. JCI national trainer Rajendra Bhat K.presented the training on the leadership. JCI Unit President H.J.F. Sathish presided over the function and welcomed the guests and the gathering. Secretary Ranjit K. proposed vote of thanks.
In the environment awareness bike rally conducted before noon, Rev. Fr. Lawrence D’Souza – Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church Belman inaugurated the distribution program of the garbage bins to the garages of Belman. Former JCI President Dipak Kamath inaugurated the stickers on the awareness of solar energy.
N. Thukarama Shetty – Former Deputy Governer of Rotary Club conducted the Painting and Rangoli competitions in the afternoon. Ashok Shetty of Vijaya Bank Thamaskatte was the chief guest. Rajesh Kumar Punaru and Subhas Kumar compeered the program and also proposed vote of thanks.
