Udupi, 08 September 2011: The important feast of the Christian community in coastal Karnataka, known as Monthi Festh or  ‘Feast of New Paddy’ (Novem) was celebrated at the Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi on Thursday, 8 September 2011. Hundreds of devotees participated in the Feast Mass. Rev. Fr. Fredrick Mascarenha, Parish Priest of Udupi celebrated the Feast Mass.
