NJC Barkur and Republic Day 2024

Barkur, 26 Jan 2024: It’s a grand display of disciplined parade and a colourful march past as the NCC cadets, Scouts, Guides and NSS and others in the National Junior College joined together to showcase their dedication and involvement at early youthful stages of learning as the nation celebrated Grand 75th Republic Day on 26th January 2024.

 

 

Principal Prof U Kottraswamy hoisted the flag and in his brief message outlined the need for such national celebrations to ignite patriotism and concern for motherland. He also gave a clarion call to read the Constitution which is a sacred book guides the citizens to be just and live in harmony.

 

High School section and PU Students actively participated in the proceedings. Mrs Hemavathy PS HM High School and members of teaching and non teaching staff too joined to encourage and cheer the youth.

 

All were served with snacks and sweets.
