KPCC to hold mega Convention of activists in city on Jan 21

Mangaluru, 13 Jan 2024: KPCC will be organising state-level convention of party workers in Mangaluru on January 21. Over 1 lac party activists are likely to attend the event, said Salim Ali, KPCC president and chief whip of Karnataka legislative council.
Salim was speaking at the preliminary meeting held in this regard held at District Congress Committee (DCC) office, here on Friday January 12.
It was presided by DCC president K Harish Kumar.
Salim also said that on the instructions of AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge, to hold state-level convention on January 21 in every state, accordingly, it will be held in Mangaluru, said Salim.
The minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, Congress veterans B Ramanath Rai and Abayachandra Jain, MLC Manjunath Bhandary, Shakuntala Shetty, former MLC Ivan DSouza, Kodijal Ibrahim, J R Lobo, Ashok Kodavoor, P V Mohan, Mamata Gatti, Rakshit, U K Monu, Shivarama, Sadasiva Ullal and others were present.
