AAPI - Manipal Global Health Summit 2024

Manipal, 04 Jan 2024: We are honoured to announce the commencement of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) - Manipal Global Health Summit. This landmark event is scheduled for January 4th to 6th, 2024, at the Fortune Inn Valley View, Manipal, in collaboration with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Over 100 AAPI USA physicians, predominantly alumni of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal/Mangalore, will convene to discuss the ’Future of Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence.’ The summit will feature CME lectures, a CEO forum, and a Women’s Forum, highlighting India’s dedication to healthcare progress and innovation.

 

Dr. H.S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor – MAHE Manipal, and Dr. Sampat Shivangi, President of the Indian American Forum for Political Education, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, Dr. Sharath Rao Pro Vice Chancellor Health Sciences MAHE, Manipal and Dr. Rohit Singh Director Alumni Relations, MAHE, Manipal have addressed the Pre Event press meet, expressing their enthusiasm for the new horizons in global healthcare that the summit aims to explore.

During pre-event press meet, Dr. Sampat Shivangi, President of the Indian American Forum for Political Education, Chairman Mississppi State Department of Mental Health highlighted the crucial role of Indo-American collaboration in the medical field. “In the dynamic landscape of healthcare, the partnership between Indian and American physicians is not just beneficial but essential. Together, we can lead the charge towards groundbreaking advancements in medicine, leveraging the combined expertise of our nations’ professionals,” said Dr. Shivangi.
