PM Modi virtually flags off Mangaluru-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express

Mangaluru, 30 Dec 2023: Mangaluru-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video conferencing on December 30, Saturday. The PM flagged off a total of six Vande Bharat and two Amrit Bharat trains today.
The Mangaluru-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express departed from the Mangaluru Central Railway Station at 12.13 noon.
The function held at the Mangaluru Central Railway Station was attended by Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Bharath Shetty, Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Palghat Railway Officers Arun Kumar Chaturvedi and M Jayakrishnan among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Nalin said Vande Bharat train to Bengaluru will commence in the month of April.
