Bellevision Bahrain celebrates Annual Day

Bahrain, 07 Dec 2023: When year-end comes, we look back and ponder upon the yearlong activities. Bellevision Bahrain, just completed 13 years of its existence in Bahrain since its inception on the 26th November 2010, with the vision of “Striving for Togetherness” which consists of families from Moodubelle and neighboring places, residing in Bahrain.

 

Under the leadership of present President Nirmala Fernandes, the annual day was celebrated at the Papillon Party hall on the evening of 30th November. The program began at 9.00pm with a Konkani Prayer Song, by Riva Pinto, Preetham Aranha and Ronald Fernandes.

 

The Executive Committee arrived to the stage with a classic Dance number with their dance moves. General Secretary Ivan D’souza welcomed the members and well-wishers and also read out the Annual report. Excom cut the beautifully decorated annual day cake. In her Presidential address, Nirmala appreciated the support of EXCOM members throughout the year and expressed her satisfaction in all that was done. Vice President Alfreeda Castelino gave the vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts put in by members and children to make this event a successful one. She also reminded the gathering to enjoy the entertainment part, which was arranged by our members and children. Naveen Mendonca’s delicious home baked slice cake was served to one and all. Master Alec D’silva recited the prayer before meals.

 

 

BV Bahrain presented the well-wishers the fresh flower plants as a token of appreciation for their continued support. There was special appreciation gift to three members - Vincent Martis, Naveen Mendonca and Maxim D’sa for their constant support and selfless service to Bellevision.

 

MC for the evening, dazzling Adline D’silva with her true entertaining attitude, enthralled the crowd and ensured that everyone participated. Novelty prizes were given away during the novelty dances, the dance floor was filled with members as all were just happy to dance and enjoy the evening.

 

Our children Warren, Ronel, Darren, Irvin, Nathan, Angela, Annora, Ivanka, Meloria, Farrel, Eloana and Riva, entertained the crowd with their dance which was choreographed by Preetham Acharya of Shining Stars Dance Crew. Guest singer Loyolla Martis, Ronald Fernandes, Preetham Aranha and Thomas Fernandes sang beautiful numbers and entertained the gathering. Adults dance was choreographed by Loyolla and Feena and was performed by Alfreeda, Joyce, Feena, Preetham, Valentino and Vinith. Special attraction of the event were the couple dances performed with the good spirit of entertaining by Nirmala & Ronald Fernandes, Arun & Deepika Fernandes, Vinith & Feena D’souza, Joel & Alfreeda.

 

Raffle draws at intervals were conducted as there were 10 give away prizes. Also there were spot prizes for children and adults alike. Everyone appreciated the efforts put in by the members and their children for this Annual day’s success. All children were given goodies for their performances.

 

Registration counter was managed by Preethi Pinto, DJ Valentino Mathias charmed the crowd with foot tapping music along with baila beats. Photography was covered by Mario Fernandes and Rony Fernandes. Bar counter was manned by Vincent Martis. Mr. Xavier Mathias provided the butter slice cakes and chocolate muffins. Scrumptious buffet prepared by Papillon was relished by all.
