Moodubelle: Scholarship to students distributed in Jnanaganga PU College

Moodubelle, 18 August 2011: In a programme held in Jnana Ganga PU College, Nellikatte on August 15, 2011 at 10.30 am, 47 children of the members of G.I.C. Co-Operative Society were given Rs. 500 each as scholarship. Besides, 11 other students were also given Rs.500 each as scholarship. The families of 4 deceased members were given financial help of Rs.11,000 each.

 

The programme was presided over by Purushottam Shetty, businessman from Udupi. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. P.V. Bhandary, Director of   Dr. A.V. Baliga Memorial Hospital, Dodddana Gudde, Udupi. Jinaraj C. Salian, Headmaster of Sri Narayanaguru School, Padubelle was the guests of honour.

 

 

Gopikrishna, President of  General  Insurance Co-Operative Society(G.I.C) and  Jnanaganga PU College welcomed the guests, Suresh Shetty, Vice President of  General Insurance Co-Operative Society proposed the vote of thanks and  Mrs.Sulakshana and Mrs.Leena compeered the programme.
