Karnataka Sangha Qatar in Association with Indian Cultural Center Celebrates Engineers Day-2023

Qatar, 20 Sep 2023: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, continuing its annual tradition, celebrated Engineers day–2023 marking the birth anniversary of the most prominent engineer of India Bharat Ratna Sri M. Vishveshwarayya on 16 September at Ashoka Hall, Indian Cultural Center. For the first time in these many years, Karnataka Sangha Qatar associated with Indian cultural center to organize the event on a grand scale.

 

The chief guest of the event was H.E Sri. Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar. Guests of Honor for the event were prominent dignitaries from Qatar Engr. Jabor Mohammed, Head of Operations and IT Department - Katara Cultural Village and Engineer Fahid Al-Henzeb, Project Head, QChem. The highlight of the event was tech talk by Engineer Arwinder Singh Awathar Singh, Senior Process engineer, Drainage Network Operation and Maintenance Authority, Ashgal – Public works Authority. Another key highlight of the event was the display of scientific and engineering models by students of around 14 prominent Indian schools in Qatar. Members of Karnataka Sangha Qatar Advisory committee and other community leaders including Sri. AP Manikatan, President of Indian Cultural center and management committee members were present in the event.

 

 

President of Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Sri Mahesh Gowda thanked Indian Cultural Center for providing all the assistance to organize and host the event and congratulated all Engineers present in the auditorium. H.E Sri Vipul in his address to the gathering thanked Karnataka Sangha for hosting the event and assured required support for the future endeavors and congratulated all the Students for putting up high quality projects in the Scientific and engineering exhibition.

 

All the schools and students who participated in the Exhibition were suitably felicitated and recognized for their hard work and innovation.
