Udupi: Oscar Fernandes speaks to press reporters

Udupi, 15 August 2011: Central government has no objection if Anna Hazare conducts fasting movement without causing any problem to people, said Member of Rajya Sabha Oscar Fernandes. He was speaking to the press reporters in Udupi on Monday. He justified the accusations made by Congress spokes person Manoj Tiwari that Anna Hazare is corrupt. Sawanth Ayoga appointed by Maharastra government itself has said about the financial irregularities of Anna Hazare, the same thing has been said by Manoj Tiwari. That is his personal opinion and not the opinion of the Central Government, he said.

 

 
Oscar Fernandes overruled the possibilities of Udupi – Chickmagalur constituency bi election. He said former Chief Minister Yediyurappa has said that he will be back as the Chief Minister within 6 months, so the present Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda may not resign his position as MP. So there is no question that who will be the candidate, he said when he was questioned by the reporters that who will be the Congress candidate for Udupi – Chickmagalur constituency for bi election.
 
When he was questioned whether S.M. Krishna would return back to state politics, he opinioned that, if he personally wants and if the High command wants, then it can be possible.
