Udupi: Three arrested while trying to sell ganja in Shirva

Udupi, 10 Sep 2023: Shirva police arrested three people who were trying to sell ganja near Baggedikallu of Kurkalu village on September 9.

 

 

Shaktivelu, PSI of Shirva police station was on patrolling duty on the morning of Saturday.

 

He saw Premnath Rev (22), Sampath Bangera (25) and Varun (19), trying to sell Ganja near the Milk Producers’ Cooperative building society and took them into custody.

 

Police confiscated 212 grams of Ganja worth Rs 6,000 in the market and also a digital weighing scale.
