Puttur: Workshop on ‘Android Development’ held at St Philomena College

Puttur, 20 July 2023: Department of MSc Computer Science organized one day workshop on “Android Development” on 18th July in the PG Seminar Hall of St Philomena College.

 

Computer Science is the application science of many fundamental sciences. Technology is growing rapidly all over the world where students must update themselves and move faster with innovative ideas, said Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal after inaugurating a one-day workshop on ‘Android Development’.

 

 

Harish, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Mangalore participated as resource person and extended insights with regard to cybercrimes which are taking place across the world. He stressed upon how youngsters should be careful about such crimes and should not fall prey to cybercrimes and for that one should be updated about cyber facilities.

 

Govinda Prakash C. H Coordinator, PG Department of Computer Science, and the faculty members Akshatha B, Ramya S and Suraksha S were present during the session.
