Vanamahotsava observed in Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte

Udupi, 09 July 2023: Catholic Sabha Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte Kallianpur Unit joined hands with Commission for Environment and ICYM to celebrate Vana Mahotsava on 9th July, 2023.

 

Around 9.15 all assembled in the Church near Grotto along with our Parish Priest Rev. Dr Roque DSouza to plant saplings and in his message encouraged parishioners to have clean, green and environment friendly surrounding to ensure good health and eco friendly, sustainable development. He also informed this is the best time, rainy season to plant fruit bearing trees and medicinal shrubs.

 

 

President of the Catholic Sabha Mrs Rosy Quadrus, Convenor of Commission, ICYM President, office bearers and enthusiastic members were present in large numbers.
