Snehalaya witnessed a joyful reunification of Mr Kenchenna from Chitradurga, Karnataka

Mangaluru, 19 June 2023: Brother Joseph Crasta, The founder of Snehalaya, rescued a person named Kenchenna on 19/01/202. He was found wandering on the streets of Uppala, Kasargod. He showed extremely violent behavior and was admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centro. The Psychiatric counselors and medical team managed to give him the appropriate care and support.

 

 

In addition to the medication, he was urged to take part in various therapeutic activities and counseling sessions. Based on the information provided by him, our social workers were able to determine his native place.

 

There were also Phone call family counseling, Sessions for Kenchenna and for his family. So there the psychiatric social workers arranged a reunion on 18/06/2023 at Snehalaya. The family members came to Snehalaya to receive  Kenchenna. His wife and mother were in tears as they saw him alive and in good condition. Kenchanna was really delighted and happy as he is back to his abode.  It gives us Satisfaction and Joy when we witness so many reunification’s taking place from our Center.
