Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo releases list of Udupi diocese priestly transfers, new assignments

Udupi, 01 June 2023: Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, bishop, diocese of Udupi, released the list of transfers of priests serving in the diocese on Wednesday May 31.

 

 

In the major transfers exercised, Msgr Baptist Menezes will be retiring, and Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves has taken charge as the new vicar general of Udupi diocese. Fr Alwyn Sequiera OCD will be taking charge as editor of Uzwaad fortnightly and Fr Royson Fernandes will be moving to Rome for studies. Fr Alexander Lewis has been appointed as the parish priest of Mundkur parish.

 

Fr Philip Neri Aranha is appointed as the parish priest of Kemmannu church, and Fr Prakash Anil Castelino will take charge as the parish priest of Pangla church. Fr Victor Anul Cornelio has been given the additional responsibility as the director and chaplain of Belve church.
