Shirva: Rotary Family Get-together Celebrated

Shirva, 09 August 2011: In India the undivided family system which has been in practice since generations is now diminishing. Rotary International Club with the world message has made the family environment alive again, said Kuthyaru Krishnamurthy Bhat – Former Managing Trustee of Shree Kshethra Yellur Vishweshwara Temple.
He was speaking in Rotary Family get-together celebration program held at Monis Complex Shirva on Monday, upon wishing on the occasion of 80th birthday to Kudigrama K. R. Shripathi Acharya an NRI residing in Australia. Guests and dignitaries present on the dias were; Dr. Gopalakrishna Acharya – Superintendent of Mitra Hospital Udupi, Bhimarathi S. Acharya, Dr. K.R. Venkatakrishna – Senior doctor in Shirva and Leo Noronha – Rotary Secretary.
B. Pundalika Marathe – Former Rotary President compeered the program. Ronald Sequeira – President of Rotary Shirva presided over the function and also welcomed the guests and the gathering. Kumari Sujanya sang prayer song. William Machado and team conducted entertainment games. Kumari Reshal Sequeira conducted prayers. Raghupathi Aythal proposed vote of thanks.
