ICYM-Moodubelle to organise ‘Pratibha Divas’ on September 8, 2011

Moodubelle, 07 August 2011: The Moodubelle Unit of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) will organise the Annual Cultural ‘Pratibha Divas’ on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 4.30pm in the Parish Hall.

 

On this occasion, the ICYM has planned to conduct Group Cultural Competition in five categories-Group Song, Dance, Skit, Jokes and Compeering (MC).

 

According to the organisers, each group should comprise of 10 to 20 members. There  is no age limit to the members of each group. Each group will be allotted 30 minutes to perform all  items. Except compeering, there should be at least one item in the Konkani language.

 

Those who wish to participate in this cultural competition should submit their Group name and names of the individual members of the Group in the Parish Office by September 2, 2011 and the names will be displayed on the notice board on September 3, 2011. Lots will be taken by the leader or representative of each Group for the sequence of performance after the 7.30 am Mass on Sunday, September 4, 2011. 

While ICYM will provide stage, curtains and sound system, each Group should make arrangements for their own make-up and other logistics required for the performance of the items of the competition.

 

The Prizes for the Competition are:

 

1. Overall Best Group: Rs.3003/- and Trophy

2. Overall Runners Up: Rs. 2002/-and Trophy

 

Besides the above prizes, prizes of Rs.500/- and Trophies will be awarded to individual items-Best Group Song, Dance, Skit, Jokes and Compeering.
