Milagres College, Alumnae Groups donates funds for its needs

Udupi, 04 Mar 2023: Milagres College, Kallianpur always considered its Alumnae as the backbone of support, reservoir of encouragement and always compassionate in its concerns and responsible for its present growth, reputation and goodwill.

 

There are various vibrant groups in WhatsApp, Face Book and other social media platforms to accommodate and facilitate their exclusive interaction for most of the batches.

 

Interestingly early batches especially 1967 to 82, and beyond 1988 are once again in the limelight. Most of these graduates are at their early or above 60, who fetched their degrees from the erstwhile University of Mysore, till 1982 and later from Mangalore University, now leading a peaceful retired life and interestingly made space and time for recalling their good olden days in the College. Thanks to modern communication system.

 

 

There are many examples one can quote, who are closely connected not only within themselves, but also interact, visit and contribute for the needs of the College in different ways and means over the years.

 

As the College gearing up to welcome NAAC Peer Team for its 4th cycle of Assessment and Accreditation on 10th Match and 11th March, lot of preparations are in place since years. Alumni always plays significant role as its true ambassadors and stake holders. On 28th February, Alumni Bach of 1978 – 79 contributed Rs 1.72 Lakhs towards the renovation work in the College and few days ago batch 1986 87 donated Rs. 3.00 lakhs towards the renovation of College Entrance, for these goodwill gesture and timely help, the College, their Alma Mater always remain grateful - Principal Dr Vincent Alva told the visiting representatives.

 

The College has grown from just offering BA and BCom degrees to include BSc and BCA and till last year PG courses in MCom and MSW.

 

A meeting with Alumnae Association has been scheduled with the NAAC Peer Team on 10th March, 2023 at 2.00 pm and the College extend a warm and homely welcome to all of you.
