BJP to hold ‘Marthr Sangama’ Women’s Convention at Brahmavar on 8 Jan

Udupi , 07 Jan 2023: BJP Udupi City unit and Urban unit under the leadership of MLA Raghupathy Bhat on the occasion of birthday celebration of Atal Bihari Vajapaye “Mathr Sangama” programme will be held at Shamili Hall, Brahmavar near here on Sunday, 8th January 2023.

 

Addressing a press meet at Pathrika Bhavan here on Friday, January 6, Raghupathy Bhat said that the programmes will start from 9.30am to be inaugurated by MLA and former MP Tejaswini Gowda and will give speech on District level Mahila Convention. State Mahila Morcha President Smt. Geetha Vivekananda will be present during the District level Mahila Convention.

 

He said that there will be four groups for the students for the Art Colour competitions which are LKG to Ist Std., 2nd std to 4th Std, 5th Std to 7th std and 8th std to 10th standard. Around four thousand children will participate in the art colour competition. Udupi’s Artist Forum will convene the competitions, he said.

 

 

The certificates will be distributed to all participants and also cash prizes will be distributed to all groups winners and runners.

 

He said that the arts drawing materials will not be available for the artists, but drawing sheets will be available. Lunch and tiffin will be provided to the participants.

 

There was huge success in celebrating Atal Utsav in the district. On account of Atal Bajapayee birthday celebrations there was Booth Sangama and Kabbadi tournament organized which was a huge success and this will be the third programme. And prior to the election after the college examinations, one more programme for college students will be organized, he said.

 

Mahesh Takur, President of BJP City unit, Veena Naik President of BJP Udupi Urban unit, Vasanthi Sathish Poojary President of Mahela Morcha, Urban BJP Udupi Constitutency, Saroja Shettigar President of BJP Mahila Morcha Udupi City of Udupi legislative constituency, Rashmitha Shety Mathra Sangama Convener and District General secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha Udupi, Manjunath Manipal Municipal councilor and others were present during the press meet.
