UAE Throwball group set to host Premier League on Feb 5

Dubai, 15 Dec 2022: The UAE throwball group lives with the motto ’The Strength of the Team is Each Individual Member and the Strength of Each Member is the Team’. With the FIFA keeping all busy at the moment, UAE Throwball group is giving another opportunity to vouch and support their favorite team in the upcoming Throwball Premier League (TPL) 2023. The Indoor TPL 2023 will be held on February 5, 2023 in Dubai which will enable all to witness players exhibit their great talents and skills.

 

 

This TPL is dedicated to Ullas Menezes a vivid sportsperson who spread nothing but laughter, cheer and love wherever he went. He was a part of the TPL 2020 winning team The Payyar Punters. 115 will always be missed.

The winners of TPL 2020 were The Bright Winders in Women and The Payyar Punters in Men. The UAE throwball group, is a community who has contributed enormously for the betterment of throwball and has seen many players/spectators showing interest in this game to make it well-known amongst our community in the UAE. This year’s TPL will see six Men and Women teams each competing against each other to lift the 2023 TPL Championship Trophy. The bidding for all the registered players took place on December 10 in the presence of the owner, the manager and the icon players for each team along with the TPL organizing committee.

 

The winner will be crowned as the TPL Champion 2023 along with a cash prize. The runners-up will also be awarded. In addition to this there are various individual awards to be awarded during the matches. The venue brings many attractions to keep you entertained through out the day. The matches will be screened live, details to follow.

 

 

The UAE Throwball group appeals for the generous support from each community to witness this amazing event, through significant contribution and active participation to make this event a success and to carry good memories after leaving the venue.

 

The fire has begun and viewers would be witnessing the action on February 5 at the Al Ittihad School, Mamzar Dubai. So get ready to cheer your favourite team.
